Putting It All Together
The InfinityQS Data Management System (DMS) extends the reach of InfinityQS' powerful analytical capabilities across the enterprise by standardizing data from multiple sources and systems in a single repository. The standardized data from DMS can be used with ProFicient, eSPC, and other analytical tools.
DMS streamlines automated data-entry and data collection from multiple data sources. Using DMS, data can be combined and analyzed in a single subgroup, regardless of the data source. The connecting data sources include OPC, Wonderware Live Data Tables, OLE databases, GE iHistorian, grid providers that parse data from RS232, Ethernet and data files. InfinityQS is currently developing additional connectors to fulfill the IT requirements of its customer base.

The data can be collected from a variety of systems such as:
- OPC
- File
- Serial
- TCP/IP
- Databases
- Wonderware
- RS-232
- OPC
- AQDEF (Automotive Quality Data Exchange Format)
- iHistorian
- InfinityQS Historian
InfinityQS is continually incorporating additional data sources. DMS allows data to be ultimately assembled into logical subgroups for analysis in ProFicient or eSPC.
Data Collection Service (DCS)
You can also fully automate this data collection activity (into DMS) to run as a background operation. This real-time, fully automated data collection service can also acquire test data from enterprise and plant applications and from virtually any electronic test equipment. This data can then be easily compiled into meaningful and actionable information about manufacturing processes.
